| 3:6 Así Abraham creyó a Dios, y le fue contado por justicia. | Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. | 6 καθὼς ἀβραὰμ ἐπίστευσεν τῶ θεῶ, καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῶ εἰς δικαιοσύνην. |
| 3:7 Sabed, por tanto, que los que son de fe, éstos son hijos de Abraham. | Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. | 7 γινώσκετε ἄρα ὅτι οἱ ἐκ πίστεως, οὖτοι υἱοί εἰσιν ἀβραάμ. |
| 3:8 Y la Escritura, previendo que Dios había de justificar por la fe a los gentiles, dio de antemano la buena nueva a Abraham, diciendo: En ti serán benditas todas las naciones. | And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. | 8 προϊδοῦσα δὲ ἡ γραφὴ ὅτι ἐκ πίστεως δικαιοῖ τὰ ἔθνη ὁ θεὸς προευηγγελίσατο τῶ ἀβραὰμ ὅτι ἐνευλογηθήσονται ἐν σοὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη. |
| 3:9 De modo que los de la fe son bendecidos con el creyente Abraham. | So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. | 9 ὥστε οἱ ἐκ πίστεως εὐλογοῦνται σὺν τῶ πιστῶ ἀβραάμ. |
| 3:10 Porque todos los que dependen de las obras de la ley están bajo maldición, pues escrito está: Maldito todo aquel que no permaneciere en todas las cosas escritas en el libro de la ley, para hacerlas. | For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. | 10 ὅσοι γὰρ ἐξ ἔργων νόμου εἰσὶν ὑπὸ κατάραν εἰσίν· γέγραπται γὰρ ὅτι ἐπικατάρατος πᾶς ὃς οὐκ ἐμμένει πᾶσιν τοῖς γεγραμμένοις ἐν τῶ βιβλίῳ τοῦ νόμου τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτά. |
| 3:11 Y que por la ley ninguno se justifica para con Dios, es evidente, porque: El justo por la fe vivirá; | But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. | 11 ὅτι δὲ ἐν νόμῳ οὐδεὶς δικαιοῦται παρὰ τῶ θεῶ δῆλον, ὅτι ὁ δίκαιος ἐκ πίστεως ζήσεται· |
| 3:12 y la ley no es de fe, sino que dice: El que hiciere estas cosas vivirá por ellas. | And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. | 12 ὁ δὲ νόμος οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ πίστεως, ἀλλ᾽ ὁ ποιήσας αὐτὰ ζήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς. |
| 3:13 Cristo nos redimió de la maldición de la ley, hecho por nosotros maldición (porque está escrito: Maldito todo el que es colgado en un madero), | Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: | 13 χριστὸς ἡμᾶς ἐξηγόρασεν ἐκ τῆς κατάρας τοῦ νόμου γενόμενος ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν κατάρα, ὅτι γέγραπται, ἐπικατάρατος πᾶς ὁ κρεμάμενος ἐπὶ ξύλου, |
| 3:14 para que en Cristo Jesús la bendición de Abraham alcanzase a los gentiles, a fin de que por la fe recibiésemos la promesa del Espíritu. | That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. | 14 ἵνα εἰς τὰ ἔθνη ἡ εὐλογία τοῦ ἀβραὰμ γένηται ἐν χριστῶ ἰησοῦ, ἵνα τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν τοῦ πνεύματος λάβωμεν διὰ τῆς πίστεως. |
| 3:15 Hermanos, hablo en términos humanos: Un pacto, aunque sea de hombre, una vez ratificado, nadie lo invalida, ni le añade. | Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. | 15 ἀδελφοί, κατὰ ἄνθρωπον λέγω· ὅμως ἀνθρώπου κεκυρωμένην διαθήκην οὐδεὶς ἀθετεῖ ἢ ἐπιδιατάσσεται. |
| 3:16 Ahora bien, a Abraham fueron hechas las promesas, y a su simiente. No dice: Y a las simientes, como si hablase de muchos, sino como de uno: Y a tu simiente, la cual es Cristo. | Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. | 16 τῶ δὲ ἀβραὰμ ἐρρέθησαν αἱ ἐπαγγελίαι καὶ τῶ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ. οὐ λέγει, καὶ τοῖς σπέρμασιν, ὡς ἐπὶ πολλῶν, ἀλλ᾽ ὡς ἐφ᾽ ἑνός, καὶ τῶ σπέρματί σου, ὅς ἐστιν χριστός. |
| 3:17 Esto, pues, digo: El pacto previamente ratificado por Dios para con Cristo, la ley que vino cuatrocientos treinta años después, no lo abroga, para invalidar la promesa. | And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. | 17 τοῦτο δὲ λέγω· διαθήκην προκεκυρωμένην ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ ὁ μετὰ τετρακόσια καὶ τριάκοντα ἔτη γεγονὼς νόμος οὐκ ἀκυροῖ, εἰς τὸ καταργῆσαι τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν. |
| 3:18 Porque si la herencia es por la ley, ya no es por la promesa; pero Dios la concedió a Abraham mediante la promesa. | For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. | 18 εἰ γὰρ ἐκ νόμου ἡ κληρονομία, οὐκέτι ἐξ ἐπαγγελίας· τῶ δὲ ἀβραὰμ δι᾽ ἐπαγγελίας κεχάρισται ὁ θεός. |
| 3:19 Entonces, ¿para qué sirve la ley? Fue añadida a causa de las transgresiones, hasta que viniese la simiente a quien fue hecha la promesa; y fue ordenada por medio de ángeles en mano de un mediador. | Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. | 19 τί οὗν ὁ νόμος; τῶν παραβάσεων χάριν προσετέθη, ἄχρις οὖ ἔλθῃ τὸ σπέρμα ᾧ ἐπήγγελται, διαταγεὶς δι᾽ ἀγγέλων ἐν χειρὶ μεσίτου. |
| 3:20 Y el mediador no lo es de uno solo; pero Dios es uno. | Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. | 20 ὁ δὲ μεσίτης ἑνὸς οὐκ ἔστιν, ὁ δὲ θεὸς εἷς ἐστιν. |
| 3:21 ¿Luego la ley es contraria a las promesas de Dios? En ninguna manera; porque si la ley dada pudiera vivificar, la justicia fuera verdaderamente por la ley. | Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. | 21 ὁ οὗν νόμος κατὰ τῶν ἐπαγγελιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ; μὴ γένοιτο· εἰ γὰρ ἐδόθη νόμος ὁ δυνάμενος ζῳοποιῆσαι, ὄντως ἐκ νόμου ἂν ἦν ἡ δικαιοσύνη. |
| 3:22 Mas la Escritura lo encerró todo bajo pecado, para que la promesa que es por la fe en Jesucristo fuese dada a los creyentes. | But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. | 22 ἀλλὰ συνέκλεισεν ἡ γραφὴ τὰ πάντα ὑπὸ ἁμαρτίαν ἵνα ἡ ἐπαγγελία ἐκ πίστεως ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ δοθῇ τοῖς πιστεύουσιν. |
| 3:23 Pero antes que viniese la fe, estábamos confinados bajo la ley, encerrados para aquella fe que iba a ser revelada. | But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. | 23 πρὸ τοῦ δὲ ἐλθεῖν τὴν πίστιν ὑπὸ νόμον ἐφρουρούμεθα συγκλειόμενοι εἰς τὴν μέλλουσαν πίστιν ἀποκαλυφθῆναι. |
| 3:24 De manera que la ley ha sido nuestro ayo, para llevarnos a Cristo, a fin de que fuésemos justificados por la fe. | Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. | 24 ὥστε ὁ νόμος παιδαγωγὸς ἡμῶν γέγονεν εἰς χριστόν, ἵνα ἐκ πίστεως δικαιωθῶμεν· |
| 3:25 Pero venida la fe, ya no estamos bajo ayo, | But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. | 25 ἐλθούσης δὲ τῆς πίστεως οὐκέτι ὑπὸ παιδαγωγόν ἐσμεν. |
| 3:26 pues todos sois hijos de Dios por la fe en Cristo Jesús; | For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. | 26 πάντες γὰρ υἱοὶ θεοῦ ἐστε διὰ τῆς πίστεως ἐν χριστῶ ἰησοῦ. |
| 3:27 porque todos los que habéis sido bautizados en Cristo, de Cristo estáis revestidos. | For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. | 27 ὅσοι γὰρ εἰς χριστὸν ἐβαπτίσθητε, χριστὸν ἐνεδύσασθε· |
| 3:28 Ya no hay judío ni griego; no hay esclavo ni libre; no hay varón ni mujer; porque todos vosotros sois uno en Cristo Jesús. | There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. | 28 οὐκ ἔνι ἰουδαῖος οὐδὲ ἕλλην, οὐκ ἔνι δοῦλος οὐδὲ ἐλεύθερος, οὐκ ἔνι ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ· πάντες γὰρ ὑμεῖς εἷς ἐστε ἐν χριστῶ ἰησοῦ. |
| 3:29 Y si vosotros sois de Cristo, ciertamente linaje de Abraham sois, y herederos según la promesa. | And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. | 29 εἰ δὲ ὑμεῖς χριστοῦ, ἄρα τοῦ ἀβραὰμ σπέρμα ἐστέ, κατ᾽ ἐπαγγελίαν κληρονόμοι. |
| 4:1 Pero también digo: Entre tanto que el heredero es niño, en nada difiere del esclavo, aunque es señor de todo; | Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; | 1 λέγω δέ, ἐφ᾽ ὅσον χρόνον ὁ κληρονόμος νήπιός ἐστιν, οὐδὲν διαφέρει δούλου κύριος πάντων ὤν, |
| 4:2 sino que está bajo tutores y curadores hasta el tiempo señalado por el padre. | But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. | 2 ἀλλὰ ὑπὸ ἐπιτρόπους ἐστὶν καὶ οἰκονόμους ἄχρι τῆς προθεσμίας τοῦ πατρός. |
| 4:3 Así también nosotros, cuando éramos niños, estábamos en esclavitud bajo los rudimentos del mundo. | Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: | 3 οὕτως καὶ ἡμεῖς, ὅτε ἦμεν νήπιοι, ὑπὸ τὰ στοιχεῖα τοῦ κόσμου ἤμεθα δεδουλωμένοι· |
| 4:4 Pero cuando vino el cumplimiento del tiempo, Dios envió a su Hijo, nacido de mujer y nacido bajo la ley, | But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, | 4 ὅτε δὲ ἦλθεν τὸ πλήρωμα τοῦ χρόνου, ἐξαπέστειλεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ, γενόμενον ἐκ γυναικός, γενόμενον ὑπὸ νόμον, |
| 4:5 para que redimiese a los que estaban bajo la ley, a fin de que recibiésemos la adopción de hijos. | To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. | 5 ἵνα τοὺς ὑπὸ νόμον ἐξαγοράσῃ, ἵνα τὴν υἱοθεσίαν ἀπολάβωμεν. |
| 4:6 Y por cuanto sois hijos, Dios envió a vuestros corazones el Espíritu de su Hijo, el cual clama: ¡Abba, Padre! | And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. | 6 ὅτι δέ ἐστε υἱοί, ἐξαπέστειλεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὰς καρδίας ἡμῶν, κρᾶζον, αββα ὁ πατήρ. |
| 4:7 Así que ya no eres esclavo, sino hijo; y si hijo, también heredero de Dios por medio de Cristo. | Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. | 7 ὥστε οὐκέτι εἶ δοῦλος ἀλλὰ υἱός· εἰ δὲ υἱός, καὶ κληρονόμος διὰ θεοῦ. |
| 4:8 Ciertamente, en otro tiempo, no conociendo a Dios, servíais a los que por naturaleza no son dioses; | Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. | 8 ἀλλὰ τότε μὲν οὐκ εἰδότες θεὸν ἐδουλεύσατε τοῖς φύσει μὴ οὗσιν θεοῖς· |
| 4:9 mas ahora, conociendo a Dios, o más bien, siendo conocidos por Dios, ¿cómo es que os volvéis de nuevo a los débiles y pobres rudimentos, a los cuales os queréis volver a esclavizar? | But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? | 9 νῦν δὲ γνόντες θεόν, μᾶλλον δὲ γνωσθέντες ὑπὸ θεοῦ, πῶς ἐπιστρέφετε πάλιν ἐπὶ τὰ ἀσθενῆ καὶ πτωχὰ στοιχεῖα, οἷς πάλιν ἄνωθεν δουλεύειν θέλετε; |
| 4:10 Guardáis los días, los meses, los tiempos y los años. | Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. | 10 ἡμέρας παρατηρεῖσθε καὶ μῆνας καὶ καιροὺς καὶ ἐνιαυτούς. |
| 4:11 Me temo de vosotros, que haya trabajado en vano con vosotros. | I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. | 11 φοβοῦμαι ὑμᾶς μή πως εἰκῇ κεκοπίακα εἰς ὑμᾶς. |
| 4:12 Os ruego, hermanos, que os hagáis como yo, porque yo también me hice como vosotros. Ningún agravio me habéis hecho. | Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all. | 12 γίνεσθε ὡς ἐγώ, ὅτι κἀγὼ ὡς ὑμεῖς, ἀδελφοί, δέομαι ὑμῶν. οὐδέν με ἠδικήσατε· |
| 4:13 Pues vosotros sabéis que a causa de una enfermedad del cuerpo os anuncié el evangelio al principio; | Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. | 13 οἴδατε δὲ ὅτι δι᾽ ἀσθένειαν τῆς σαρκὸς εὐηγγελισάμην ὑμῖν τὸ πρότερον, |
| 4:14 y no me despreciasteis ni desechasteis por la prueba que tenía en mi cuerpo, antes bien me recibisteis como a un ángel de Dios, como a Cristo Jesús. | And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. | 14 καὶ τὸν πειρασμὸν ὑμῶν ἐν τῇ σαρκί μου οὐκ ἐξουθενήσατε οὐδὲ ἐξεπτύσατε, ἀλλὰ ὡς ἄγγελον θεοῦ ἐδέξασθέ με, ὡς χριστὸν ἰησοῦν. |
| 4:15 ¿Dónde, pues, está esa satisfacción que experimentabais? Porque os doy testimonio de que si hubieseis podido, os hubierais sacado vuestros propios ojos para dármelos. | Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me. | 15 ποῦ οὗν ὁ μακαρισμὸς ὑμῶν; μαρτυρῶ γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι εἰ δυνατὸν τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν ἐξορύξαντες ἐδώκατέ μοι. |
| 4:16 ¿Me he hecho, pues, vuestro enemigo, por deciros la verdad? | Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? | 16 ὥστε ἐχθρὸς ὑμῶν γέγονα ἀληθεύων ὑμῖν; |
| 4:17 Tienen celo por vosotros, pero no para bien, sino que quieren apartaros de nosotros para que vosotros tengáis celo por ellos. | They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them. | 17 ζηλοῦσιν ὑμᾶς οὐ καλῶς, ἀλλὰ ἐκκλεῖσαι ὑμᾶς θέλουσιν, ἵνα αὐτοὺς ζηλοῦτε. |
| 4:18 Bueno es mostrar celo en lo bueno siempre, y no solamente cuando estoy presente con vosotros. | But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. | 18 καλὸν δὲ ζηλοῦσθαι ἐν καλῶ πάντοτε, καὶ μὴ μόνον ἐν τῶ παρεῖναί με πρὸς ὑμᾶς, |
| 4:19 Hijitos míos, por quienes vuelvo a sufrir dolores de parto, hasta que Cristo sea formado en vosotros, | My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, | 19 τέκνα μου, οὓς πάλιν ὠδίνω μέχρις οὖ μορφωθῇ χριστὸς ἐν ὑμῖν· |
| 4:20 quisiera estar con vosotros ahora mismo y cambiar de tono, pues estoy perplejo en cuanto a vosotros. | I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you. | 20 ἤθελον δὲ παρεῖναι πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἄρτι, καὶ ἀλλάξαι τὴν φωνήν μου, ὅτι ἀποροῦμαι ἐν ὑμῖν. |
| 4:21 Decidme, los que queréis estar bajo la ley: ¿no habéis oído la ley? | Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? | 21 λέγετέ μοι, οἱ ὑπὸ νόμον θέλοντες εἶναι, τὸν νόμον οὐκ ἀκούετε; |
| 4:22 Porque está escrito que Abraham tuvo dos hijos; uno de la esclava, el otro de la libre. | For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. | 22 γέγραπται γὰρ ὅτι ἀβραὰμ δύο υἱοὺς ἔσχεν, ἕνα ἐκ τῆς παιδίσκης καὶ ἕνα ἐκ τῆς ἐλευθέρας. |
| 4:23 Pero el de la esclava nació según la carne; mas el de la libre, por la promesa. | But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. | 23 ἀλλ᾽ ὁ μὲν ἐκ τῆς παιδίσκης κατὰ σάρκα γεγέννηται, ὁ δὲ ἐκ τῆς ἐλευθέρας δι᾽ ἐπαγγελίας. |
| 4:24 Lo cual es una alegoría, pues estas mujeres son los dos pactos; el uno proviene del monte Sinaí, el cual da hijos para esclavitud; éste es Agar. | Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. | 24 ἅτινά ἐστιν ἀλληγορούμενα· αὖται γάρ εἰσιν δύο διαθῆκαι, μία μὲν ἀπὸ ὄρους σινᾶ, εἰς δουλείαν γεννῶσα, ἥτις ἐστὶν ἁγάρ. |
| 4:25 Porque Agar es el monte Sinaí en Arabia, y corresponde a la Jerusalén actual, pues ésta, junto con sus hijos, está en esclavitud. | For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. | 25 τὸ δὲ ἁγὰρ σινᾶ ὄρος ἐστὶν ἐν τῇ ἀραβίᾳ, συστοιχεῖ δὲ τῇ νῦν ἰερουσαλήμ, δουλεύει γὰρ μετὰ τῶν τέκνων αὐτῆς. |

| 4:30 Mas ¿qué dice la Escritura? Echa fuera a la esclava y a su hijo, porque no heredará el hijo de la esclava con el hijo de la libre. | Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. | 30 ἀλλὰ τί λέγει ἡ γραφή; ἔκβαλε τὴν παιδίσκην καὶ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτῆς, οὐ γὰρ μὴ κληρονομήσει ὁ υἱὸς τῆς παιδίσκης μετὰ τοῦ υἱοῦ τῆς ἐλευθέρας. |
